Oh Yeah, I Have a Blog!

After trying to get to a blog that does not exist (temporarily), I found myself at my own blog.  When you log in, all of your blogs are listed right there for you to see!  It's been awhile.  Sarah is now four and we have another little munchkin, David, who is almost 18 months.  Only two more Sundays until he goes to Nursery.  YEE. HAW.  It'll be best for all of us.

So upon returning to my blog, I have discovered how to make it PURPLE!  I love purple.  I love it so much that I might actually come back and write more often (no promises).  And I changed the font to something a little more interesting, though still easy on the eyes.  There were some really cute ones, but seriously, I might need an Asprin after reading them for a whole blog post.  I wouldn't do that to you.

We have family coming tomorrow for Sarah's birthday.  It was over a week ago, but she doesn't know that.  I'm excited to see everyone.  Stephen's in the kitchen putting stuff away and Sarah's whining about something yellow in the other room.  Time to help make the house presentable!

School Tomorrow

So tomorrow is the first official day of school. I will do testing for my students and then they will come as a class next Monday. Part of me is not ready to leave the summer and spending time with Sarah. Part of me is really excited to go back. And let me tell you, my room is BEAUTIFUL! That's right! I have everything all organized and labeled and most of my papers are filed. I just have one teeny tiny stack of papers left and I plan to have it done this week. Last year everything was just thown into the closet and I was pregnant so I didn't have the energy to fix it. This year is going to be different and awesome and I really look forward to it. Bring it on!

This is New

So I just started a blog for my classroom, thinking it would be a great way to keep in touch with the parents. I put all the information that I think they might need and update it as we go. Then I got thinking that I really should do one for our family. So here it is, the new blog just for us.
